Aaron's Background

Aaron’s journey of growth and understanding began in the Marines at 17, where he realized a numer of things about how the world works. This fueled his desire to help others navigate the challenges the true nature of our human made world works. Music and rhythm played an important role in connecting Aaron with the world beyond the uniform, across all types of divides. Along with music, Aaron found love for the water, leading to underwater welding, scuba instruction, spearfishing, freediving instruction, and Deep End Fitness coaching. The ocean remains Aaron’s greatest teacher, teaching him about responding to stress and chaos with calmness in chaos, and to channel a grounding presence. Upon the legalization of psilocybin assisted therapy in Oregon, Evelyn became one of the first people to acquire OHA approved training through the Changa Institute. She began working in Jamaica, then in Oregon soon after service centers began opening their doors. She is one of the more experienced facilitators in the state with the legal model of psilocybin.

Aaron's Approach

Aaron often finds clarity in motion, and he honors that energy on our Journeys. While restlessness has been one of his greatest challenges, it has also led me down incredible paths of discovery, growth, and service.

Aaron’s Guiding Principles:

  1. To honor and walk beside those who step into the darkness with their own light.
  2. To embody both strength and vulnerability wherever it is needed.
  3. To foster an atmosphere of healing and transformation.
  4. To balance chaos with a calm, smiling spirit.
  5. To protect and ensure the safety of all under my care.
